So on Tuesday, I did my G2 exam and failed it.
Now normally, I would be more sad than pissed, but I'm pissed off, and here's why.
-7 points deducted for not checking blind spot (apparently, they can't tell if you don't twist your entire body, I mean come on, would I really forget to check the blind spot SEVEN TIMES??!?!)
-4 points for not behind the car (apparently, I HAVE to look through back window and not backseat windows)
-random points here and there for slow turning, bad positioning, not looking both sides when crossing intersection (Okay, these I know I deserved, I don't care about this because I know I did these things wrong)
-FAIL for not hitting brakes when Cyclist crossed intersection while turning
(THIS is the one that got me the most pissed. This is the most bullshit thing ever. First of all, it's illegal for a cyclist to cross the part of the intersection that's meant for PEDESTRIANS. Second, FLASHING RED HAND MEANS DO NOT START TO CROSS. Third, what do you mean not hitting brakes? Just because you slammed on it doesn't mean I didn't also hit the brakes. You think you hit the brakes first? How could you even tell when you just slammed it without thinking? You thought I wasn't watching? Then I guess I also shouldn't wait for those ACTUAL pedestrians to cross. Even if I did hit the damn guy, my case would hold up in court. I would win because it's freaking illegal for a cyclist to ride a bike through the intersection for pedestrians).
Honestly, I haven't hit ANYTHING since I've started driving. It's quite retarded. Don't take your G2 at Aurora. They have retarded examiners.
